Nová planeta Otakar.

     Zdá se, že v některých osobnostech pulzují síly, které mají schopnost provanout se do šílených dálek milionů světelných roků a přitom zůstat na Zemi. Na Zemi mrzké a zavrženíhodné, Zemi bláhových tužeb a marných nadějí, jež nás svádějí a dojímají.

     Jednou z těch sil je světlo, složené ze zázračné růžice barev. „Teď je zima“, píše Otakar Hudeček, „a barvy se objevují někde uvnitř člověka a venku je vidí jenom, když je má v sobě.“

     A je to právě on, kdo objevil planetu barevného blouznění, svůj druhý svět, který si malířsky umí přivolat díky své imaginaci a vzácnému dramatickému temperamentu. S útočišti arkadické idyly má sotva co společného. Vychází ze symbolických konfigurací, z jejich drahokamové tříště, a jsou neseny příboji antroposofických oceánů anebo se skrývají mezi korálovými útesy snů.

     „Fenomén snu mě vždycky osobně fascinuje“, píše Hudeček.. „Je to poloha snu, co vyhovuje mému tvoření. Mne nezajímají objekty, které ve snu vidím, ale spíš pocit, který za nimi je. A ten barvou vyjádřit! Zapomene se děj snu, ale zbude pocit, pro nějž nejsou slova. Jedině v rovině imaginace vyvstává moment, který se tomuto pocitu podobá. A barva je s to vyjádřit takovou blízkost.“

     Hra s poselstvím planetárního koloritu je vlastně dialogem s obrazem. „Já jdu do toho jako do nějaké bitvy a nevím, jak to dopadne. Je to věc intuice. Jen někdy mám určitou představu…, ale vždycky se tam vklíní prvek čehosi nepředstavitelného, nepostřehnutelného.“ – Utváří se barevné dění, naznačující sounáležitost univerza. Vršením kontrastních barvotvarů a styčných představ vyrůstá obrovské zjevení plodivé živelnosti. Hájemství erosu vulkanicky exploduje, barevné kaskády se rozlévají přes práh vědomí. Směs smyslového a imaginativního, čím více nevýslovna spolyká, tím více blouzní v hádankách a při tom míří do hlubin barevných tajemství. – Dialog s obrazem nabírá mnohohlasu varhan. Opojná osvobodivá rozkoš se mísí s hrozivou příznačností. Jsou tu zašifrovány hrozby a úzkosti aktuální? Navíc v řeči barev, která uniká našemu chápání…

     V údivu tušíme, jak obdivovatel moderny Otakar Hudeček, se hlásí k odkazu umělců z Blaue Reiter a zároveň se úspěšně rve o vlastní výraz. Jeho obrazy  musel požehnat časný Kandinskij, oddaně se hlásí k van  Goghovi  „otci nás všech“ i k energiím Picassa.

     Až vyjdou Otakarovy úvahy o zážitcích ze světa barev, citliví diváci užasnou.

A new planet Otakar.

It seems that in some personalities, there are forces pulsing, capable to blow into fantastic distances of millions of light years and yet remain on Earth. On the mean and damnable Earth, on the Earth of foolish desires and vain expectations, seducing and moving us.

Light is one of those forces, composed from miraculous rosace of colours. "It is winter now", writes Otakar Hudeček, "and colours are appearing somewhere inside man and he is able to see them outside only if he has them in him".

And it is just him who discovered a planet of colourful wanderings, his second world that he can invoke by painting thanks to his imagination and a rare dramatic temper. It has hardly anything in common with the refuges of an arcadic idyll. They emanate from symbolic configurations, from their gemstone drift and they are born by surges of anthroposophic oceans or hiding among coral reefs of dreams.

"The phenomenon of dream always personally fascinates me", says Hudeček. "It is the position of dream which fits with my creation. I am not interested in objects that I can see in a dream, but rather in the sensation which is behind them. And in expressing it in colour! You forget the plot of the dream, but a sensation for which there are no words remains. A moment resembling this sensation arises only in the level of imagination. And colour is able to express such contiguity."

The play with the message of the planetary colouring is, in fact, a dialogue with the painting. "I start it like a kind of battle, not knowing how it will fall out. It is a matter of intuition. Only sometimes, I have a certain idea..., but an element of something unimaginable, imperceptible always creeps in." – Colour events are forming, suggesting the unity of universe. A great revelation of generative spontaneity is growing by superposition of contrast colour forms and contact representations. The preserve of Eros volcanically explodes; colour cascades are spilling over the threshold of consciousness. The mixture of the sensual and the imaginative, the more of the unspeakable it swallows, the more it is raving in puzzles, while heading to the depths of colour secrets. – The dialogue with the painting is taking on the organ polyphony. An inebriant, liberating delight is blending with a threatening signification. Are current threats and anxieties encrypted here? Moreover, in a language of colours escaping our comprehension...

In astonishment, we feel how Otakar Hudeček, admirer of modernism, indorses the heritage of Blaue Reiter artists, successfully fighting at the same time for his own expression. His paintings must have been blessed by the early Kandinsky; he is devoutly indorsing van Gogh, "Father of all of us", as well as to Picasso's energies.

Sensitive spectators will be astonished when Otakar's reflexions on the experience from the world of colours appear.
